THE INSTITUTE FOR INTEGRATIVE NUTRITION (IIN)

I never set out to become a health coach. Life experiences and a decade of discovering a strong passion for health and well-being (through illness) led me in this direction. I became my own health coach and decided to enroll at IIN in 2017 to make it official.

After leaving my once dream school on a medical leave of absence, I needed to recover my own health. This was devastating at the time, but life had other plans for me. My immune system had pretty much shut down and no amount of doctors visits or treatments could help me understand this kind of suffering. I had to take healing into my own hands, on every level. Besides the fact that physical symptoms were screaming at me! I needed to return home to my body, regenerate my brain and understand who I came here to be. To relearn what it means to truly heal.

At the time, online schooling was fairly new and I had no idea what to expect when enrolling. It wasn’t an option for me to physically go to classes at the time, so I figured it was the next best option to continue learning. Even if it was from the comfort of my own bed! The team at IIN could not have been more accommodating, as I was undergoing intense treatment to recover from Chronic Lyme disease and severe neurological dysfunction. Despite these setbacks, something deep within told me that I needed to continue on this path of learning and awakening. I’m SO glad that I did!

“IIN opened me up to a whole new world. A world filled with so much potential, excitement and hope for humanity in healing.”

If you’re looking to help yourself or others and live a healthier, happier life this program is for you. As someone who loves to learn from all different walks of life, I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re interested in wellness and don’t know where to begin, begin here. It’s all about spreading the “ripple effect” by impacting the world positively in your own unique way.

WHY I BECAME A HEALTH COACH

After spending years doing my best to navigate the medical system, I knew that there had to be another way. A way that allowed us to take more responsibility for our health and lifestyle. A way that was… dare I say fun and sustainable? I loved the mission at IIN because they take a truly holistic approach to health. They teach you that it’s not just about the food on your plate, but also how you nourish yourself through other areas of your life, such as your relationships, career (finances), physical activity, and spirituality. The primary foods.

They created the field of health coaching. Founded nearly 30 years ago, IIN has become the world’s largest health coaching and nutrition school, with over 100,000 students and graduates in 155 countries!

The possibilities are endless in the world of health coaching. I started out coaching others in nutrition, plant based living and cooking. I have since evolved into working as a subconscious specialist and energy healing coach. My specific focus is on the subconscious mind and sharing about the journey that brought me to where I am today.

You'll learn from over 85 experts in integrative health, public health, nutrition, business, and coaching; from functional medicine physicians to spiritual leaders. A few of my favorites include Dr. Christiane Northrup, Deepak Chopra and Gabby Bernstein! IIN equips you with the tools needed to honor yourself and embrace bio-individuality to coach others, effectively.

You can go on to pursue higher education (everything from hypnotherapy to a masters in nutrition) with many additional programs available to meet your specific goals.

If you’re interested in signing up for the program, you can use my name “Adriana Furey” for up to $2,000 off tuition paid in full and $1,500 off tuition if you choose a payment plan.

To healing,

A
